  • Cartridge Filtration

    UltraPure Melt Blown Range – UltraPure filters consist of 100% polypropylene depth media and are designed for the removal of contaminants from different fluids and applications. UltraPure cartridge features graded-density, the contaminants are gradually trapped as the fluid travels to the core of the filter.     UltraPore Pleated cartridge filters are absolute rated. All UltraPore cartridges have a rigid body constructed from thermally-bonded polypropylene. UltraPore filters are available with micro-fibre pleated media or a variety of membrane media. UltraPore filters are available in different endcap styles and micron ratings from 40 to 0.04.     UltraFlow Pleated filter cartridges UF nominally rated, UFS & UFR are absolute rated range of highly efficient cost effective, surface pleated process filters. UltraFlow pleated media filter cartridges are available in pleated polypropylene, polyester or pleated glass media. The UltraFlow range is suitable for use within filtration applications such as chemical, water treatment, petrochemical, oil field & general process.   • Carbon Filtration


    UKX & UKXC1 series of activated carbon filters with a porous substance with strong physical adsorption forces, has the highest volume of adsorbing porosity of any material known to mankind. Activated carbon filters are widely applied in healthcare, industrial process, & civil use as the most efficient method of removing odours, chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOC), colours, tastes, & other contaminants from fluids.     • Industrial Housings – Stainless Steel


      Stainless Steel filter housings are available in several different styles to provide economy, durability & ease of use. We offer a range of single or multi-round bag filter bag vessels manufactured from 304 or 316L stainless steel. Multi-round vessels are available with lid closure/lifting mechanisms and swing bolt fixings. We offer a complete range of surface finishes, internal coatings & pipe connections.       • UV Lamps & Sleeves

        We are a major supplier of replacement parts such as UV lamps, quartz sleeves etc which are used in all makes of UV equipment eg Aquafine, Hanovia, UV Systems, Wedeco, Steilight, Willand, Trojan & many others. General UV Disinfection Information.UV water disinfection is a commonly used technology that leaves no taint, chemicals or residues in the treated water. Disinfection using UV light is quick, clean & no bacteria, viruses or moulds are immune to the killing power of UV. UV disinfection units often called ‘UV sterilisers’ or ‘UV filters’ comprise a stainless steel reactor chamber housing a UV lamp or lamps located inside protective quartz sleeves. These lamps are tailored to emit UV @254nm, which is quite damaging to DNA contained in the cells of the bacteria. The UV breaks and modifies the DNA chain, stopping the bacteria from reproducing, effectively killing it. UV is often used for water disinfection, however, it can be used also to disinfect air inducts & rooms as well as surfaces of cartons, packaging, conveyors and even products themselves.         • Reverse Osmosis

          Reverse Osmosis is physical removal technology relying on a semi-permeable membrane & correct operating pressures to physically separate a broad range of contaminants from the potable water supply. The semi-permeable membrane gives 2 water streams, permeate (purified water) & concentrate (waste water). We can supply a range of Reverse Osmosis Systems for various applications such as healthcare, laboratory, dental clinics, pharmaceutical, food & beverage. Greencastle Technology work closely with Environmental Water Systems especially in Healthcare where we have supplied the EndoPure & Hot Set RO products into many hospitals to comply with EN15883 & HTM2030 standards.             • Water Softening

              Softening is removing the hardness from water ie calcium & magnesium ions which cause limescale or scale build up in kettles and pipes. The hardness is removed by passing the water through a cation resin bed which will remove the calcium & magnesium ions by exchanging them for sodium ions. When the cation resin bed becomes exhausted it will require to be re-generated by the aid of a sodium chloride solution otherwise known as brine.GTL are able to supply a range of softeners from the small cabinet type used for domestic applications to simplex or duplex softeners used in large industrial applications.
